That's why Asian dragons look like snakes.(They have long long body compare to western dragons) Imoogi is Korean word of calling those snakes before becoming dragon.So Kublai, shares same lore of 'Failed to become a dragon', 'Lost his Yeoiju(treasure, it will be Aether here.)'.On Stormblood expansion, WoL fight with Seiryu as extra trials quests. Basically, Seiryu is same thing as Imoogi. But some how Seiryu identifies him as 'Blue dragon(literally Seiryu)' in the plot line when the fight it self is called 'The wrath of Snake'.
Asians share similar concept of dragon myths, they call in different words but I love the sound of 'Imoogi' so I used it.This Carrd will be keep updated if I remember to write something.

Kublai is my main character I mostly online. I can't be in character outside of venue especially when I'm around my friends or near my housing plot. Even if you talk to him in character, I'll answer as OOC. Ask me before start RP-ing. He is very timid, low self esteemed, and quiet. He doesn't show off in front of others and never speaks up unless asked. He's a pacifist and dislikes arguments and disputes.
It takes him a while to become close to others, but once he does, he's kind and considerate.
He prefers a small group of friends over a large one, and he enjoys giving them small gifts. He especially enjoys cooking, so he often prepares something before meeting them.
But when he's cornered, he's the type of person who says what he needs to say.
Perhaps because he's lived so long, he's a bit slow when it comes to making decisions.
At times, he's so insensitive to danger that he almost seems fearless.

1. Imoogi and a boyLong long time ago, he was born in a very small river. Though small compared to other snakes, he was a python with beautiful scales.'To become a dragon, you must not take others lives and protect your Yeouiju for thousand years.'Like other snakes, he dreamed of becoming a dragon, and diligently embraced the Yeouiju.
He moved far away from where he was born, ended settling up on a river placed in plain.
It was where Xaelas were living.Occasionally, an au'ri boy visited him, telling him stories of the world. Boy's world was very small but lovely. He talked about fishes he found in the river, flowers he found on the plain, and about his friend. Boy's dream was to go outside of this land and explore more with his friend.Imoogi liked the little boy's story, and decided to protect the boy's village and its river where the boy lived.
When its about to become thousand years of living, the hand of war reached even the relatively peaceful plains. The Garlem Empire had heard about the "Imoogi" and invaded. Furthermore, they began to enslave the boy's villagers.
Small and powerless, he and the boy were taken by the empire.

When he woke up, he was staring at his own body, broken into pieces.
A Garlemald scientist was yelling at their assistant, "Where is the Yeouiju!"
Garlemald scients had no clue where Yeouiju is because it never existed as a thing. It wasn't something Imoogis kept it as a prop or existed inside of their body, but it was their memory and soul it self. On next room, The boy, and other lives were lying on experimental beds, dead just like how he died on the bed too.
Rage and sadness of his own failure controlled all over. All he could think was revenging on them and giving the boy a second chance-

Imoogi experimental ended as failed, the project disbanded because the members were homicided by Imoogi.'Kublai' escaped from Garlemald and wandered around in sorrow for long time. He failed to become a dragon, he failed to protect the boy, he failed for everything he could do. Even Yeouiju couldn't save the boy's soul but ended up taking the boy's body.
He can't end his life nor doesn't know how to continue on...
Everything is too fast for him, and human body is too much for him.Even though he got human body to hide how he really looks like, there was no place for him to be peaceful.

Extra informations to understand him more

    Important for him but not important for all    

Some parts of his memories are mixed, removed and changed during body transfer.
It could be the body's original owner's will, he left some favor for his Imoogi friend.
He could've find out about this fact in future, but he tried to remove some of his memories by himself which only happened not too long ago.(Children section on the below)

    Combat Abilities    

Kublai lost almost every abilities when he was getting merged to human body.
Although compare to other human beings, he may blessed by magical abilities. However, he is losing it slowly anyway.
He doesn't like to show off his abilities in front of people, and it is almost impossible for somebody to see him using any kind of magic.
He is speciallized to protect a person or some groups with aqua shield.(Will look like Sage's, but nothing specifically closer.)
So Is he strong? Not really. He is just a failed serpent.

    Crafting&Gathering    

There's one thing Kublai actively uses his ability, which is Fishing.
He can control creatures under the water(mostly weak ones) and also can control water flow for short time.
He only uses for fishing so he could manage his living.
Also, it's difficult to call him as professional culinarian, but it's his hobby. He selftaught cooking, and pretty experienced.

    Monogamous   

Born as serpent, used to be Asexual, and Aromantic.
Romantic emotions and physical desires are came from human vessel he obtained.
He has guilt of feeling these emotions or desires and not used to dealing with these.

    ...But(OOC)   

For RP funwise, I open him anybody to write this theme who willing to.
I have other OC who is going to be Kublai's mate, and it's for my own storyline and this is going to be main lore of him.
He'll be monogamous for anyone who's reaching for romantic RP, but I won't limit his partners. It's going to be multiverse for RP funwise.
Again, IC is not OOC, no Drama.

    Residence    

Xaelas who escaped to Ishgard from Garlean attack, got murdered by Ishgardians. Kublai also escaped from Garlemald and ended up hiding in Coerthas.
Trained dragoons noticed he's different than other Xaelas, and made situation worse. He wasn't welcomed by Ishgardians, Xaelic refugees nor from dragons either.
Although, he has lived in Empyreum for few years. He still misses cold, miserable land more than his home town than anything for some reasons. Yet he strongly refuges to go back there.

    Children -Some Dark pasts (Trigger Warning)  

Kublai loves kids. He can look after them without any return and will even risk his life to just protect them.
This isn't just something because he likes pure living things, but more painful trauma behind.
He miscarried once in the past, and lost his partner at the same time back when he lived in Coerthas. He never talks to anybody till today, but his eyes often turn red when he sees a couple and child passing by.

For me(ooc), positions don't really matter but I'll reject anyone that just 'male au'ra please top my oc' , 'You're male au'ra you should be top' kinda person.
Please ask somebody else if you just reached out to him because he's male Au'ra and willing him to top your OC.
It doesn't matter how femboy or twink than him, I'll say no.

    On the Bed

He wasn't used to human body, so he had some... difficult times. Sometimes, offering body communication is easier than have conversation with him.
He likes gentle and nice partners. If partner being nice to him, he opens his mind and spreads his legs(?)

    Omega    

Skip this part if you don't know anything about Omegaverse.
This lore is just for my small OC story line funsies. Kublai doesn't even know word of 'Alpha' or 'Omega' but he do know some people have unique scents and he can't control himself being horny sometimes. And I won't going to make him as 'omegaverse' core character because I still want to enjoy interacting with other people's OC too.
He'll never mention about anything related unless you give him hint about your character's scent if your character share similar lore.
But this doesn't mean breeding and raping is my(ooc) or his(ic) kink.
Especially as Kublai, he has trauma of getting raped which I haven't wrote it specifically. Even though I gave him Omega lore, rape is big no to him.Also, even if you're OC isn't omegaverse related, you can use Kublai's heat as excuse for offer him sex. He is extremely shy but during his heat, he becomes a bit bold.

Dragoons/Garleans-If you're trained dragoon, you may sense his true nature.-If you're from Garlemald, especially a soldier, Kublai will be defensive and try to avoid from conversation as much as he can.

     Yokai/Creature     

He doesn't remember all the details of his pasts, and he wasn't socialized one long ago since then. He started opening his minds to make connections with his similar kinds recently.However, he doesn't seem really friendly to dragon kinds at all.
Some events happend back in Coerthas made him lose trust in them.
He'll treat you as higher ranked person since he is a failed serpent, but will keep distance between them.

     Yakuza     

A Yakuza family called 'Kazama' is protecting Kublai.
They stole him from Garlean soldiers, and he became trophy of its family.
So he is protected, but he doesn't seem very happy.
If you're part of any Yakuza famiily in Kugane, you may heard of 'Kazama' and their failed serpent trapped in. Also, Kublai will notice your Yakuza family’s name.

Kind, precious soul Kublai met on his work, and let him experience what's having family is like. They're not blood related but became closer like a sister and brother and support each others.
Also, she's one of only person he feels safer and opens his mind easily.
When they're at Torii, they spend most of time for making new recipes, chats, and good nap.

     Karasu Katou                 Employer

Owner of 'Midnight Torii'.
A man with mysterious aura, simillar odd being like Kublai but powerful. Kublai found his shop on the way back to home which he doesn't wanted to.
Kublai found out this place is safe from in real life dangers, asked Karasu for hire him and he accepted.+They met long long ago, when Kublai was just a young serpent. Karasu lead him for safer place to live, save him from giving up his own life.
